£2000 off your national insurance bill

04-Jun-2014

In a bid to encourage companies to employ more people the Government has introduced an ‘employment allowance’, saving companies up to £2000 off their employer Class 1 National Insurance Contributions.

This employment allowance can be claimed from 6th April 2014 and will benefit over a million businesses and charities in the UK.

For companies whose previous NI bill was under £2000 they will now not have to pay any employer NI contributions.
