What’s your role within the company?

My role is mainly office based, performing client work such as payroll, book keeping accounts, VAT returns, CIS returns and filing statutory records.

What do you like most about working for Jan McDermott & Co?

The clients are so nice which makes working for them so enjoyable. This company has a nice atmosphere all the time, the people are lovely, so work is always a pleasure.

What’s beyond the 9 to 5?

Outside the office I like to keep fit going to the gym, I enjoy bike rides in the countryside. I support my son’s football matches at weekends which is always entertaining. I’m a big camping enthusiast; any time in the outdoors and with family and friends is always nice.

What’s your proudest moment?

Having my two children Mathew and Amy.

What’s your favourite film?

Dirty Dancing.

What’s your biggest adrenaline rush?

Biggest adrenaline rush would be going on ‘AIR’ at Alton Towers, also the ‘SAW’ ride at Thorpe park – amazing!

If you could have one wish, what would it be?

Health wealth and happiness.
